Everything Is Wonderful
BY CHELSEA MERCANTEL
WATERTOWER THEATRE, SPRING 201
This play explores the story of an Amish family thrown into turmoil by two separate tragedies — one the sexual assault of Miri, the eldest daughter, and the other, the tragic death of her two brothers. When the driver who killed the brothers, Eric, comes to the farm, the family is forced to deal with their tragedies past and present.

Reviews
“The costume design (Becca Janney) is, by nature of the setting, somewhat limited in scope; but the subtle grace notes come through, like the contrasts between the shades of green worn by the play’s three women—light, springy green for Ruth, a bold, bright emerald for Miri before she’s forced out, and a somber forest green for Esther.”
